Special Coatings for Feeding Technology by SZTechnik GmbH
At SZTechnik GmbH, we specialize in advanced coating solutions for feeding technology that effectively address common conveying issues in automation processes, such as:
- Insufficient conveying capacity
- Excessive noise levels
- Difficulties feeding oily workpieces or handling emulsions
- Contamination of workpieces
- Damage to workpieces
- Damage to vibratory bowls caused by workpieces
This can be resolved with a customized coating specifically tailored to the part being conveyed, using our conveyor brush coating.
We are happy to carry out test runs for you—free of charge—if you send us one or two sample parts. This allows us to determine the most suitable coating for your specific application. Just ask us — we’ll be glad to assist you immediately.
Learn more [here] about how the conveyor brush material works. Naturally, we also use other materials, such as polyurethane and PU coatings.
Our coatings are not limited to spiral conveyors but are also suitable for hoppers, linear conveyors, linear rails, surface storage systems, and any other surfaces on which parts move in automation technology. We use low-wear materials, ensuring fast amortization of repair coatings.

Before
Screw conveyor with the following previous coating:
Screw: 6 mm conveyor brush
Sidewall: 6 mm conveyor brush
Bottom ring: 4 mm polyurethane
In this case, the old coating is removed using an electric scraper. Residual adhesive is then eliminated with the help of appropriate machinery. Afterward, the vibrating bowl is thoroughly cleaned, all irregularities are leveled out, and the surface is prepared for recoating.

Green 6 mm Conveyor Brush Covering
The 6 mm thick conveyor brush material features angled bristles, which enhance forward movement.
The 6 mm material covers most application areas.

Black Conveyor Brush Coating: From 1.0 mm to 25 mm
- The 1.0 / 1.5 / 2.5 mm thick material is ideal for use with very light parts, such as plastic parts or components for the cosmetics industry, among others.
- The 13 mm thick material is extremely durable and can withstand high loads from large and heavy parts.
- The 15 mm thick material offers excellent running properties for parts with a larger contact surface, thanks to the slightly longer and thinner bristles.
- The 19 mm thick material is suitable for a range of heavy and large parts, but not for heavy parts with a small contact surface, due to the thinner bristles.
Advantages of Recoating / Repair Coating with Conveyor Brush Material
By choosing recoating or repair coating with conveyor brush material, you benefit from:
- Performance increases of up to 300%, depending on the part
- No impact from oils and emulsions on conveying performance
- Smooth and quiet operation of parts
- Significant reduction in noise levels
- No damage to surface-sensitive or fragile parts
- Protection against damage to spiral conveyors caused by burrs or sharp-edged parts
Spray Coating
We also offer spray coating upon request. While this type of coating is cost-effective for new systems, please note that once the coating layer wears out, reworking it can be very time-consuming and, therefore, expensive!
