The linear conveyor drive features an external magnetic gap adjustment, eliminating the need for the time-consuming adjustment of feed rails that was previously required. This drive system operates without additional control devices. The rail weight can be up to 50% heavier compared to similar linear conveyor drives.

Information on Linear Drives:
Linear drives are part of linear technology, a subcategory of drive technology that uses mechanical components or mechatronic systems to execute translational movements. These drive systems produce linear motion.

Linear Drives enable the movement of machines, machine elements, systems, or system components either in a straight line or along another predetermined path. Linear drives can also be used to generate non-linear movements, for example, via crankshafts.

Linear drives are employed in hoists/winches, rack and pinion drives, rigid chains, ball screws/roller screws, and many other industrial applications. Source: Wikipedia
