We appreciate your interest in our website. The protection of your personal data during the collection, processing, and use of your data during your visit to our website is important to us.
1. Personal Data
Personal data refers to information that can be used to identify you personally. This includes your name, address, mailing address, and telephone number. Information that is not linked to your identity (such as the number of users visiting a website) is not considered personal data. You can generally use our online services without revealing your identity.
When you visit our website or use our services, the device you use automatically transmits log data (connection data) to our servers. This log data includes the IP address of the device used to access the website or service, the type of browser used, the previously visited webpage, your system configuration, and the date and time of access. IP addresses are stored only to the extent necessary for the provision of our services. Otherwise, they are deleted or anonymized. We store your IP address for a maximum of seven days to detect and prevent possible attacks.
When you request information, order e-books, or make other inquiries, we may ask for your name and other personal information. It is entirely your choice whether or not to provide this data. We store your information on specially protected servers located in Switzerland. Following an adequacy decision by the European Commission, Switzerland is recognized as providing a level of data protection comparable to that of the EU. Therefore, data transfers from the EU to Switzerland are permitted under data protection regulations. Access to this data is restricted to a small number of authorized personnel responsible for technical, commercial, or editorial support of the content and servers.
If usage or traffic data is required to provide our services, it will be stored for a maximum of six months from the time it is collected. If the data is needed to comply with legal, statutory, or contractual retention obligations (e.g., for invoices), it will be retained beyond that period. However, such data will be locked and accessible only to a few authorized individuals using password-protected access.
Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct advertising (Article 21 GDPR)
If data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this data protection declaration. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR).
If your personal data is processed in order to conduct direct advertising, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such advertising; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct advertising. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection in accordance with Art. 21 (2) GDPR).
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time at the address provided in the imprint. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally need time to verify this. You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted while we verify your claim.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you require it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted instead of deleted.
- If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, your interests must be weighed against ours. As long as it is not yet clear whose interests prevail, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – with the exception of its storage – only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
2. Disclosure of personal data to third parties
We use your personal information only for our own purposes. We will not share your data with third parties without your express consent. If we are required to do so by law or court order, we will transfer your data to authorized bodies.

The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted after you unsubscribe. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g., email addresses for the members’ area) will remain unaffected.
Data analysis by Oasis
When we send newsletters using Oasis, we can determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked.
Oasis also allows us to categorize newsletter recipients (so-called tagging). This allows us to categorize newsletter recipients based on factors such as gender, personal preferences (e.g., vegetarian or non-vegetarian), or customer relationship (e.g., customer or potential customer). This allows us to better tailor newsletters to the respective target groups.
If you do not want Oasis to analyze your data, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a link for this in every newsletter message.
Data that we have stored for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members area, address details for invoicing) remain unaffected.
7. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the website by users is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website by users, to compile reports on activities within this website and to provide us with other services related to the use of this website and internet usage. Pseudonymous user profiles of users may be created from the processed data.
We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the user’s IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the website and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de .
