Our parts sorting capabilities are enhanced by the addition of a Spring Detangling device. This allows us to disentangle conical, cylindrical, or barrel-shaped compression springs, enabling the individual springs to be fed into a hose or conveyor system.

To achieve optimal disentangling of different springs, the rotation speed can be continuously adjusted. Any springs that remain tangled are detected by a sensor and fed back into the device.

We offer drum conveyors for Spring Detangling and multi-lane feeding of springs and small parts to assembly equipment, grinding machines, etc., as well as handheld devices for mobile use.

FE200 / FE 300 –
Spring Detangler – Spring Feeding and Spring Untangling System

The use of a special probe not only checks and removes jammed compression springs, but also, with the addition of our F 200 FU untangling device, unravels and thus feeds the individual compression springs in the hose or on a parts feeder.

Spring range:

Outer diameter: approx. 2 mm to approx. 10 mm

Lengths: up to approx. 35 mm

Wire diameter: approx. 0.2 mm to approx. 1.0 mm

The filling quantity depends on the size and shape of the springs.

Spring detangler F 200 FU

The F 200 FU detangling device is one of our solutions.

Detangling springs with the following dimensions is not a problem for this device:

Outer diameter: from approx. 2 mm to approx. 10 mm

Length: up to approx. 35 mm

Wire diameter: from approx. 0.2 mm to approx. 1.0 mm

The maximum filling capacity is 0.1 liters, which depends on the size and shape of the springs.

To achieve optimal untangling for various compression springs, the rotation speed of the untangling disc can be adjusted using a potentiometer in the range of 15–70 Hz, controlled by a three-phase motor with a frequency converter.
